BEECH is the music outlet of Belgian artist/multi-instrumentalist Kristof Souvagie. Souvagie is a child of the 1990s. The sound of bands like Nada Surf, Yo La Tengo and Pavement permanently nestled in his inner ear, and you can hear it in his music: Souvagie writes layered, melancholic guitar pop songs that love to linger.

BEECH’s new EP Back In December is out now. Themes of the four songs are love, friendship and breaking out of the everyday grind. Souvagie wrote and played (almost) all the parts himself. The recordings also feature the catchy guitar parts of Jan Marcoen (The Leslies, Whisper Party).
