New DEADLETTER single: More Heat!

There is no escaping DEADLETTER. The Yorkshire-based art punk band has been racing along stages in Britain and Europe like a hurricane since 2020.

DEADLETTER clearly nurtures a love for Belgium: in 2022, the group played support act for labelbuddies Placebo at Sportpaleis, and last year DEADLETTER worked eight (!) gigs on Belgian soil. Last month DEADLETTER played an excellent show at Rock Werchter’s The Slope, on Oct. 30 they will be in our country again to present Hysterical Strength at Trix. All tour dates at the bottom of this email.

The band today shares More Heat!, already the fourth single from their upcoming debut album Hysterical Strength. The album was produced by the acclaimed Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele).

Frontman Zac Lawrence on the song: “More Heat! is about the way in which someone may attempt to convince themselves they are feeling enjoyment from something that in reality is causing them a disturbance. Whether it be to preserve face, or simply hrough an inability to swallow their pride and accept that a spell of discomfort as a result of change far outweighs continuously doing something from which there is no contentment to be found.

Hysterical Strength will be released Sept. 13 on SO Recordings, home to Seasick Steve, Enter Shikari and Deaf Havana.
