First up’s our very own Stoop Kid. He donated Much Of Anything, a song written and recorded during lockdown 2020. Indecisiveness and despondency are key in this one, culminating in an outro with a whole lot of cowbell in it. The song never made it onto an album or EP or anything but should allegedly also be featured in a Belgian horror movie that’s coming out this fall.
Why Don’t They Seem To Understand is not only the oldest track on the compilation, it’s also the first song Nick de la Croix ever recorded back in his elderly home in Bekkevoort. You might know Nick as the singar/guitarist of Capibara but before that he played a bunch of really cool shows as A Gentleman. We also know for a fact he’s been working on a new project for a while now. So Nick, if you’re reading this, finish it already!
